FAQ
What merchants ask before they sign
Pricing, migration, custom work and shopper data. For anything else, the team answers by email or on a call.
A moving band of sample orders from Indian cities, with the item, amount, payment method and status. The orders are made up.
ShopenUp
What is ShopenUp?
An online store platform for Indian merchants who have outgrown a basic store builder: catalogue, inventory, orders, payments and shipping, managed for you, with custom modules built when your business needs them. It is made by Code Colonies Private Limited.
Who is it for?
D2C brands with a growing catalogue, retailers moving their business online, distributors taking dealer orders, and larger merchants with unusual ordering. If you have a small catalogue and simple orders, a basic store builder may suit you better, and we will say so.
What works on day one, and what is custom?
Products, variants, inventory, orders, payments, shipping labels, customers, basic reports, an API, webhooks and custom modules work on day one. Subscriptions, multi warehouse, loyalty, dealer price lists and ERP sync are built for you. The native or custom page has the full list.
Buying and setup
How much does it cost?
Growth is ₹25,000 a year plus GST for a managed store with up to 5,000 products. Enterprise is priced on custom terms. Custom work is billed on 2good.dev terms and paid after you accept it.
Can you move our store from another platform?
Yes. Products, customers and past orders are brought across, and old URLs are redirected so search traffic follows you.
How long does setup take?
It depends on your catalogue and any custom work. You get a dated plan after the first call.
Before you commit
What if a custom module does not work the way we agreed?
Custom work is scoped in writing before it starts, and you pay only after you test it and accept it. If it does not match the written scope, it is fixed before you are invoiced.
Can our own developers work on the store?
Yes. API access and webhooks come with every store, so your developers or another agency can build against them. Custom modules can also be built by the Code Colonies team.
What if we outgrow the Growth plan?
Growth covers up to 5,000 products. Beyond that, or with several stores or unusual ordering, Enterprise is priced on custom terms with unlimited products.
Is ShopenUp right for a small store?
For a few dozen products with simple orders, a basic store builder is cheaper and quicker to start. The platform fit quiz gives a recommendation in eight questions.
Payments, data and support
Which payment gateways can we use?
ShopenUp integrates with payment gateways, and supports manual payments such as bank transfer and cash on delivery. Tell us which gateway you use and we will confirm how it connects.
Who owns our customer data?
You do, and the merchant agreement sets out how you take it with you if you leave. As the merchant, you are also responsible for it under the DPDP Act, 2023.
Who supports the store?
On the managed plans, the Code Colonies team handles hosting, updates and support. The support channels and hours are set out in your merchant agreement.
